Lisa Dile

Degree: Individual, Family Studies & Gerontology from Kent State University

Year Started at Tree City: 2008

Lisa has always enjoyed working with people of all ages, but her true joy comes from children. Lisa has three children of her own and prides herself on raising them to be happy and caring adults. After graduating from Kent State University, Lisa spent about 7 years working as Activity Director in a nursing home/ retirement community. After her youngest was born, Lisa was lucky enough to get to stay home and raise her last child full time. When her youngest turned 3 years old, Lisa became acquainted with Tree City Preschool when her son became a student. Dropping her son off every day at Tree City, Lisa knew this was a place that she wanted to become more involved. Once her son finished kindergarten, Lisa was offered a job as a Teacher’s Assistant. Over the years, Lisa has become lead teacher in the 4 & 5 year old classroom and Director of the school. Lisa feels extremely fortunate to have such talented and caring teachers at Tree City and enjoys working with them every day. The most rewarding part of Lisa’s time at Tree City is seeing the students develop a love of school and learning. She tries to make every day fun and makes sure that each child knows they are special and cared for.

In her free time Lisa enjoys spending time with her family. During the summer you will likely find her at the baseball field where her son plays for Kent Roosevelt and will play next year at Malone University.
